Keepr’s Gin - By British Honey Company

Introducing Keepr’s Gin, by British Honey Company, where artisanal spirits are created using 100% pure honey from their hives.

Launched in 2014 in Oxfordshire, British Honey Company is known for its award-winning Keepr's honey and fruit-infused spirits. Many of the spirits are made with 100% British honey from its fully traceable apiaries, currently amounting to more than 275 hives, and produced at its award-winning distillery in Buckinghamshire. It is committed to using locally sourced ingredients in its spirits and is certified by The Soil Association as being able to supply ‘organic’ spirit products.

The British Honey Company distillery has a state-of-the-art, bespoke, and fully computerized 1,000-litre capacity copper pot still - one of its kind in the UK - for guaranteed high-quality products. The still has a  60-litre infusion chamber for carefully selected botanicals enabling the extraction of the purest of flavors for the Company's artisan spirits.

British Honey Company produces both Keepr's Spirits and Dodd's Gin. Its signature Keepr's honey spirits include a Classic London Dry Gin with British Honey, a Honey Spiced Rum, and a Smoked Honey Bourbon, as well as a number of fruit-infused gins and special edition vodkas. It has recently expanded its range in line with low alcohol and ready-to-drink trends producing an Ultra Low Alcohol Gin & Tonic and a range of Hard Seltzers.

The quality, value, and look of five British Honey Company spirits have been recognized in the London Spirits Competition 2020 with medals awarded to four spirits from the Keepr’s collection and one to Dodd’s Gin.

The London Spirits Competition shines a spotlight on spirits brands that consumers really want to buy, judging not just on tasting the spirits blind but also on their design and packaging – ‘shelf appeal’ – and whether the look, feel taste, and quality match up to the price point.

Keepr’s British Sloe & Honey Gin, Honey Spiced Rum, and Dodd’s Gin all received Silver Medals while Bronze Awards were given to Keepr’s British Raspberry & Honey Gin and Keepr’s Classic London Dry Gin with British Honey.

British Honey Company, Commercial Director, Oliver Williams, said: “We are delighted with our success at the London Spirits Competition. Our aim is to produce spirits that are flavorsome and enjoyable and easy to drink. These awards are recognition of that.”

It is the third year running that the British Honey Company has won awards at the London Spirits Competition and the second time this year that Keepr’s spirits have received international accolades. In March, at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, our newly released Smoked Honey Bourbon, Classic London Dry Gin with British Honey, and Honey Spiced Rum were presented with Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals respectively. It is also the second time our British Sloe & Honey Gin has been recognized this year, receiving a Silver Award at the 2020 International Spirits Challenge.
